Madeley Therapy
Whatever brings you to therapy today, it is my firm belief that we all have the capacity to create meaningful change in pursuit of peace.
I offer an empathetic, non-judgemental, safe space where we can work together to explore what that could look like for you.

Who I Am
I am an integrative therapist, blending psychodynamic, humanistic, Transactional Analysis (TA) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I have a particular interest in working with communities who have historically experienced power imbalance, including but not limited to women, the LGBTQ+ community, people who are exploring neurodiversity, minoritised religious groups and those who are from the global majority.
I also work with people to navigate their journeys into or away from parenthood and I am a registered member of the British Infertility Counselling Association (BICA).
Prior to becoming a therapist I worked as a documentary director for domestic and international television networks. My work won BAFTA and Emmy nominations and I bring the lived experience of delivering to high pressure clients into my therapeutic practice.
Alongside my private practice I work for a major television corporation, helping people to navigate their creative careers. I bring this knowledge into the therapeutic space.

How I Can Help
I work on the basis that we all make subconscious decisions in relation to our earliest experiences. Over time, patterns of thinking and behaviour emerge that we don’t necessarily have awareness of or control over. Without bringing them into focus, these patterns can lead to anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, problems in our relationships and a feeling that we don’t really know ourselves. I can help you identify these deeply rooted behaviours to help you regain a sense of agency and conscious decision making.
Meeting Each Other
Whether you’re exploring therapy for the first time, coming back after a significant life event, or looking for someone new to work with – finding the right therapist can be a complex task.
It's important to take the time to find the right fit and with that in mind, I offer free 15 minute Zoom calls to help you determine if working with me will be right for you.
